PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize process conditions of an image process through easy operation even when it is difficult to automatically optimize the process conditions of the image process. SOLUTION: According to image data obtained by reading a film image recorded on a photographic film, the film image is analyzed and process conditions of various image processes for the image data are calculated (510, 512). In a verifying process for the calculated process conditions, when an operator indicates the correction of density or color balance (affirmative in 502 and inaffirmative in 522), the image data are corrected (528) according to the correction indication and the process conditions of an image process such as a hyper- tone process are automatically calculated again. |
