摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items simplify construction and piping, reduce cost, save space, and facilitate assembly. SOLUTION: A fuel distribution delivery pipe 2 of a multicylinder internal combustion engine is provided at its one end with a pressure regulating valve 3, which has an intake vacuum chamber 9 and a fuel pressure regulating chamber 10 divided by a diaphragm 8. The vacuum chamber 9 is placed in communication with the intake manifold to open or close the diaphragm 8 by means of negative pressure. The pressure regulating chamber 10 is placed in communication with a fuel tank 15 via a fuel feed pipe 12 and a fuel return pipe 14 as well as with the distribution delivery pipe 2, and has a damper function against fuel pressure pulsations within the distribution delivery pipe 2. Both pressure regulating chamber 10 and return pipe 14 are placed into or out of communication with each other by a corresponding opening or closing action of the diaphragm 8, so that the communication returns excess fuel from the pressure regulating chamber 10 into the tank 15 via the return pipe 14. The diaphragm 8 has a sufficient contact area with fuel in the pressure regulating chamber 10 so as to deform easily in conformance to fuel pressure pulsations. A restriction 19 can be optionally provided.
