<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a docking unit capable of being effectively utilized as a single body and improving convenience. SOLUTION: This docking unit is provided with a data input device (extension input device 19), an extension external storage device 20 for preserving inputted data, a control part 15 for controlling the operations, an extension storage device 17 and a switching part 16 for switching the control origin of the extension input device 19 and the extension external storage device 20 to the side of a portable information equipment at the time of mounting the portable information equipment and to the side of the control part 15 of the docking unit at the time of detaching the portable information equipment. Even in the state of detaching the portable information equipment, the data are inputted from the extension input device 19 and preserved by the docking unit single body and the docking unit single body is effectively utilized.</p> |
