PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately notify a subscriber of a mobile station of a message such as keeping of a message or arrival of a phone call when the subscriber is unable to reply to a phone call because of attendance at a conference or while driving a vehicle. SOLUTION: A mobile telephone communication system, where a mobile station 4 is connected to a channel network via a radio base station 3 and a mobile communication exchange station 2, is provided with a plurality of mobile communication exchange stations 2, a common line signal network 7 connected to a plurality of the mobile communication exchange stations 2, a home location register connected to the common line signal network 7, and a storage center that is connected to a plurality of the mobile communication exchange stations 2 and the common line signal network 7 for storing messages from callers. When a voice message from a caller is stored in the storage center, the storage center sends a short message 'there is a message for you' to the mobile station 4. |
