PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a thermoplastic resin film keeping excellent weather and light discoloration resistances over a long period, essentially inhibiting the transmission of light of ultraviolet range and essentially not inhibiting light of visible range. SOLUTION: This resin film contains a metal oxide containing other metals having an oxidation number not larger than that of the metal constituting the metal oxide in the crystal structure of the metal oxide in the form of a solid solution and coated with at least one kind of oxide or hydrous oxide of a metal selected from aluminum, silicon, zirconium, titanium, zinc and tin. The coated metal oxide is preferably subjected to hydrophobicizing surface treatment with at least one kind of organic compound selected from higher fatty acid, higher alcohol, tertiary amine, organic fluorine compound and organic silicon compound. |
