PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery in which charging/discharging cycle characteristics are enhanced and a high output is achieved by improving electronic conductivity of positive electrode active material so as to reduce inside resistance. SOLUTION: In a lithium battery, a battery case houses therein an inside electrode member 1 in which a positive electrode plate 2 and a negative electrode plate 3 are wound or layered via a porous polymer separator in such a manner as not to be brought into direct contact with each other, wherein an organic electrolyte is used. A metal coating film is formed at the surface of at least a part of positive electrode active material powder, and/or metal particles are fixed to the surface. |
