FIELD: heat engineering; manufacture of air heaters. SUBSTANCE: air heater has ash pan, furnace, loading bin, heat exchanger and fan and flue gas after-burner. Heat exchanger is made in form of two adjacent spiral-shaped cavities embracing each other. Flue gas afterburner is provided with supply air chamber made in form of passages embracing the furnace and connected with flue gas after-burner chamber located in central zone B of heat exchanger.
