<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide the propriety of using a fan in consideration of the peripheral noises and to prevent the revolving sounds of the fan from being heard as the noises. SOLUTION: This information processor is provided with a CPU cooling fan 14 which cools a CPU 11, etc., a temperature sensor 15 which detects the internal temperature of the processor main body, a built-in microphone 18 which detects its peripheral noises, a chip set 12 which functions to temporarily stop the clock that is supplied to a semiconductor parts. Then the fan 14 is turned on when the temperature detected by the sensor 15 exceeds a set level and also the peripheral sound detection level of the microphone 18 exceeds a set level. If the peripheral sound detection level is lower than the set level, the supply of the clock is temporarily stopped so that the revolving sounds of the fan 14 are not heard as noises.</p> |
