The invention relates to a public telephone booth, placed in the exterior consisting of a carcass made of posts with lateral walls, mounted between a pedestal and a superior frame roofing, with visual signalling from distance, characterised in that it is protected against vandalism, having a robust structure, consisting of a carcass [B] upon which one or two doors are mounted, the carcass being assembled from posts [3, 4, 5, 6] to which walls are fixed made of profiled steel sheet or glass, on a base frame [1] of the pedestal [A] and at the upper part to a roofing frame [C], the assemblies being protected by profiled masks [19, 20, 21, 25] fixed by a cover plate adaptable to the shape of the posts and assured against dismantling by blocking ears [20', 21'', 25'], the ears being located below the floor of the pedestal [A].
