PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to draw characters, pictures or the like with a water-base coating material by incorporating a polyethylene oxide into a rubber sheet, or laminating a polyethylene oxide coating layer on the surface thereof. SOLUTION: A polyethylene oxide in an amount of 10-30 pts.wt. is incorporated into 100 pts.wt. rubber. The laminating method comprises applying a polyethylene oxide to a thermoplastic resin film (comprising, e.g. a polyethylene resin) which is compatible with the polyethylene oxide and can be firmly bonded thereto, drying it to laminate a coating layer on the film, and fusion bonding the thermoplastic resin film side of the laminate to a rubber sheet. The polyethylene oxide used comprises a linear polyether represented by the general formula: -[CH2 CH2 O-]n -, wherein (n)is about 1,000 to 10,000. Examples of rubber material used for the rubber sheet include a natural rubber and a styrene-butadiene rubber. The rubber sheets suitably used comprise those having physical properties such as a JIS A hardness of 60-70 degree and an elongation of 200-400%. |
