PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability on an ignition coil and durability by suppressing occurrence of stripping at a boundary section between a bobbin and an insulating layer. SOLUTION: An ignition coil 13 is equipment with a case 20, an igniter 21, a primary coil 30, a secondary coil 40, an inner core 22, an outer core 23, etc. A secondary coil 41 is constituted of the coil where a resin linear material is wound in cylindrical form. Secondary winding 43 is wound in layer around the secondary bobbin 41. An insulating layer 24 is made by charging the case 20 with liquid-form epoxy resin, and impregnating the space among the element wires in the secondary bobbin 41 with that resin, in addition to the space among several members and the space among the element wires in the secondary winding 43, and curing it. |
