A device for applying waterproof materials is provided to increase durability of a waterproof layer on a bridge deck, to extend the service life of a bridge and to reduce frequency of maintenance by applying waterproof materials on a bridge deck to the uniform thickness. The device for applying waterproof materials(100) comprises a base(110) provided with a handle(120), which is projected vertically and composed of a display unit(121) to display the thickness of waterproof materials in real time and a power switch(122) installed on one side of the display unit, and many casters installed on the bottom of the base to make the movement of the devise easy, a storage tank(140) installed to the upper rear of the base and filled with heated/melted waterproof materials to be discharged to a bridge deck through the base easily, a gate valve(141) installed to the storage tank to be slidable on the base to open and close an outlet of the storage tank, a control lever(130) installed on the base to be rotatable, provided with a hinge(131) and a pinion gear(132) engaged with a rack gear of the gate valve and rotated to control the opening and closing degree of the gate valve, thereby to control the quantity of waterproof materials applied, heaters(150) installed to the storage tank and the gate valve to heat up waterproof materials at the appointed temperature and to prevent the applied waterproof materials from being attached to the storage tank or the gate valve, and a screed blade(160) projected perpendicularly to the bases and equipped with heating wires to prevent the attachment of the applied waterproof materials and a sensor(163) to sense the thickness of the waterproof materials applied on the bridge deck. |
