摘要	A tube driven into the ground is used to inject air through a filter and then gas removed via another filter is analysed. A method for detecting the presence of volatile impurities in ground water comprises driving into the ground a tube (1) containing one or more filters in the bottom, injecting gas into the ground through at least one of these filters (2), removing gas through one or more of these filters (3), and analysing the removed gas for impurities.
