<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic catalog device and recording medium which enable a design and a size to freely be selected without considering textile width. SOLUTION: Paper patterns constituting designs that a consumer has selected are checked, one by one. If the maximum width is larger than the textile width that the consumer has selected, the codes and number of sheets of alternative paper pattern are checked with alternative code information (S21), shape information on the alternative paper pattern is loaded from shape information (S22), and the shapes of the paper pattern is measured to detect maximum width (S23); when the maximum width of the paper pattern obtained at S23 is less than the value of a textile width buffer (Y at S24), the paper pattern shape is put in a paper pattern shape buffer (S25). Consequently, the paper pattern does not exceed the textile width, so the consumer can freely select a design and a size.</p> |
