PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile equipment by which a small residual amount of ink is surely informed to the user so as to avoid a recording disable state. SOLUTION: Whether or not a residual amount of any ink is <= an empty value V1 is discriminated (S52), and of the residual amount of any ink is <=the empty value V1 (S52: YES), an error message is displayed on an LCD display device and a buzzer is energized (S59). Whether or not the error transmission mode is set is discriminated (S56), when the error transmission mode is set (S56: YES), whether or not a destination is set is discriminated (S57) and when the destination is set (S57: YES), the contents of the error is sent to the destination (S58).
