PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a refrigeration preservative capable of preserving a frozen net and collected raw laver for a long period of time without damaging them, not impairing laver bud after thawing the frozen net, excellent in elongation of laver after delivery, capable of selling and circulating a raw laver, by sprinkling a chitosan on raw laver and keeping the raw laver in cold storage. SOLUTION: This refrigeration preservative comprises a chitosan which is obtained by chemically treating a crustacean such as a shrimp or crab to give a chitin and deacetylating the chitin, is a basic polysaccharide compound of glucosamine as a constituent saccharide and is fine particles having preferably <=500 μm as a main component. Dehydrated raw laver is sprinkled with chitosan, frozen and kept in cold storage. |
