Spinning rotor shaft footstep bearing

The footstep bearing assembly, for the rotor shaft of an open end spinner, has the holding zone (9) for the lubricating grease within a cartridge (7). The cylindrical outer surface (8) of the cartridge is clamped firmly in a hollow and cylindrical holder surface (14) of a fixed carrier section (15). The cartridge has a support ball (3) with free rotation to support the shaft (2) with the counter unit (4). A fitting of the lubricating cartridge with the free-rotating ball to replace an aerostatic axial bearing is also claimed.
