The invention concerns a composition for preparing a medicine for treating osteoporosis and/or promoting bone fracture repair, said composition containing calcium in the form of calcium gluconate and heptagluconate and vitamin D. Said composition further comprises amino acids whereof the proportion relative to said calcium and vitamin D present therein is equal to the proportion of amino acids relative to the calcium and vitamin D present in the human bone tissue organic matrix. The proportion of amino acids present ranges between 15 and 20 wt %. Said composition is conditioned for oral administration in the form of solution, tablets, granules, capsules or the like capable of constituting a food additive.
