The invention concerns a sorting device comprising one or a plurality of movable containers for the reception, transport and controlled delivery of articles to be conveyed, these containers comprising inlet and outlet transferring devices which enable the articles to be transferred in and out such that the inlet and outlet transferring directions are substantially perpendicular to each other whilst the spatial orientation of the containers for the articles to be conveyed remains unchanged. |
