Sensor device for monitoring relative position of prosthetic arrangement

The sensor device monitors a relative position of a prosthetic arrangement (B) which is mounted at a remaining part (A) of a limb of an amputated person, in reference to the remaining part of the limb. The arrangement comprises a power supply battery (E), and distance sensor arrangements (C; Cl, C2,..., Cn) for generating a position signal indicative for a relative position of the prosthetic with respect to the remaining part of the limb. The distance sensor arrangements are held at a position in the prosthetic arrangement, close to the remaining part, and are electrically connected with the power supply battery. An alarm arrangement (R) is provided, to signal the amputated person, if the prosthetic arrangement is found in at least one predetermined position.
