<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing damages caused by birds and affected little by wind pressures by preventing birds from perching on wide ranges of overhead electric power lines and a holder used for the same. SOLUTION: This method for preventing damages caused by birds is to lay a wire 3, having a diameter which birds can not grasp and is finer than that of an electric power line 1, along above the electric power line 1 apart less than the height of the birds. In holders 2, means for holding the wire 3, finer than the electric power line 1 and having the diameter which the birds can not grasp, onto cylindrical bodies, each having a connecting unit for holding the electric power line 1, apart above the electric power line 1, are installed.</p> |
