PRODUCTION OF UNSATURATED ALCOHOL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a desired unsaturated alcohol in a high yield and in a high selectivity by reacting a conjugated alkadiene with water. SOLUTION: A palladium compound and a specific phosphine compound are used for a catalyst. The phosphine compound has a difference Δ(θ/2)max between the maximum value and the minimum value among angles θ1 /2, θ2 /2 and θ3 /2 in a stable structure of palladium-phosphine compound.
