PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image edit device that stores and uses edit information of a moving image to realize transfer, retrieval and data restoration of the moving image data. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a moving image management means 103 that stores and manages moving image data desired by the user, a frame information management means 106 that stores and manages edit information of an edited moving image and information of a cut point of the moving image, a scene detection means 105 that detects the cut point of the moving image data, a moving image data conversion means 102 that reduces the size of data in the case of transferring the moving image, and an image display means 101 that reproduces and displays the transferred moving image, and the moving image data conversion means 102 reduces the data in the unit of scenes and edits the moving image based on the frame information. |
