Process and formulations for the production of composite materials consisting of thermoplastic and lignine, obtained in a thermokinetic mixer in minimum thermal degradation conditions which ensure an adequate dispersion of the lignine in the thermoplastic matrix and provide materials of which the physical, mechanical and thermal properties make them appropriate for various applications. The process is carried out in two steps: the first step comprises the heating and melting of the thermoplastic material; in the second step the polymer is mixed with the lignine. <IMAGE>
