PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a molding machine and a die, either one of them does not have a driving device, by combining them by a method wherein a joint plate is detachably attached between a platen of the molding machine and the die main body, and in the joint plate, the driving source for a gate cutter which is provided in the die main body, is installed. SOLUTION: When a die main body 11 which is not equipped with the driving source of a gate cutter 43, is used by a molding machine which is also, not equipped with the driving source of the gate cutter 43, a gate cut driving unit 14 is installed between a movable side platen of the molding machine and a movable side attaching plate of the die main body 11. At the time of molding, a fixed die 12 and a movable die 13 are closed, and a molten thermopalstic resin is injected in a sprue 25, and the resin passes through a gate 52, and is filled in a cavity 15. Then, the piston 85 of a hydraulic cylinder 81 for gate cutting advances to the movable attaching plate, and moves the gate cutter 43 to the fixed die 12 while resisting to a spring 45, and cuts the resin at the gate part. |
