PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the silver halide color photographic sensitive material containing a specified coupler superior in color developing performance in the case of a low oil amount and small in the concn. dependence of hue and the stability of the produced dye against reduction of ferrous ions. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material is provided on a support with at least one layer contains a coupler represented by the formula in which each of R1 and R2 is an electron withdrawing group having a Hammett's substituent constantσp of 0.2-1.0; R3 is a substituent; (n) is an integer of 0-4; Q is a -NHCO-, -NHSO2 -, -CONH-, or -SO2 NH- group; R4 is a -NHCOR41 , -NHSO2 R42 , -CONHR43 , or -SO2 NHR43 group; R41 is an H atom or an aliphatic or aryl group or the like; R42 is an aliphatic or aryl group or the like; R43 is an H atom or an aliphatic or aryl group or the like; R5 is a substituent; (m) is an integer of 0-4; and X is an H atom or a group releasable by coupling with the oxidation product of a color developing agent.
