PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hardly cause contact failure and prevent deterioration of image quality by forming a conductive member which comes in contact with a conductive layer on the inner surface of a latent image support and electrically connects the conductive layer to a reference potential in the position facing a developing roller through the latent image support. SOLUTION: A tension roller 54 presses a photoreceptor 1 with a coil spring so as to project the portion in contact with the tension roller 54 to the outside. A conducting brush 53A of an earthing member 53 is faced to a developing roller 6c in a developing position and brought into contact with a conducting layer on the inner surface of the portion with which the developing roller 6c of the photoreceptor 1 comes in contact, and the conductive layer is kept in an apparatus earthing potential. Thereby since the developing roller 6c is separated from the photoreceptor 1 when a device is not used, bending or yielding is hardly caused in the conducting brush 53A, the sure apparatus earth of the conductive layer is kept for a long time, and image deterioration such as black stripes caused by connection failure is rarely generated. |
