<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner excellent in anti-offsetting property, blocking resistance and flowability and capable of exhibiting satisfactory fixabulity during use over a long period of time. SOLUTION: This toner contains a bonding resin, a colorant and wax. The bonding resin is urethane modified polyester resin as a reactional product of polyester resin and an isocyanato compd. The toner contains <=10wt.% THF- isoluble component based on the amt. of the bonding resin. In the mol.wt. distribution of the THF-soluble component of the toner measured by gel permeation chromatography, the THF-soluble component has the main peak in the mol.wt. range of 1,000-20,000 and a sub-peak and/or a shoulder in a mol.wt. range of >=100,000. The ratio (Mz/Mw) of the Z average mol.wt. Mz of the toner to the wt. average mol.wt. Mw is >=100.</p> |
