<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the detection of ON/OFF and the detection of a linear coordinate position by an optional short or long stroke almost without adjustment by making a detection electrode cooperate with a coordinate detection electrode slid retractably from a barrel tip. SOLUTION: A coordinate input panel 16 for a pen switch is provided and electrode lines 17 and 18 for the pen switch are arranged in the inside or on a back surface with a prescribed interval in a stroke direction. A decoder driver 20 for the pen switch successively impresses scanning pulses to the electrode lines 17 and 18 at an optional voltage corresponding to address signals supplied from a CPU. The detection electrode 19 for the pen switch is moved linked with the coordinate detection electrode 14 and slid in the stroke direction of an input pen 7 on the coordinate input panel 16 for the pen. At the time of not being depressed, it is pressed to stroke direction negative by a spring 15. The output terminal of the decoder driver is selected by the address signals from the CPU and successively impresses the scanning pulses to the electrode line and the electrode lines 17 and 18 for the pen switch. As a result, a prescribed waveform is detected.</p> |
