There is provided an optical remote control relay apparatus. The optical remote relay apparatus includes: a receiving part(20) for receiving a signal of a remote controlling unit; a storing part(22) for storing the received signal; a signal converter(24) for converting the stored signal into a code signal different from a corresponding code stored in each key; a transmitting part(26) for transmitting the converted signal; a controlling part(28) which stores the signal received from the remote controlling unit, and controls various matter for converting the signal into other signal and transmitting the converted signal to an object part to be controlled.
