PURPOSE:To reduce the machining man-hour and to improve machining precision by polishing both of a journal part and a crank pin part without changing the rotation shaft center in a lapping device for a crankshaft. CONSTITUTION:The lapping device for a crankshaft is provided with a crank rotation means 5 for rotating a crankshaft 4 around a journal shaft center 3, a vibrating arm 20c, which is supported so that it can be freely vibrated around the shaft center running in parallel with the journal shaft center 3, and that it can be freely moved in the direction perpendicular to the journal shaft center 3, and a connection part, which is provided on the front end of the vibrating arm 20c, and which connects the vibrating arm 20c and a crank pin part 4b rotatively together under a condition where a crank pin polishing tool 20 adhered to a crank pin part 4b is adhered to the crank pin part 4b. The crank pin polishing tool 20 is connected to the crank pin part 4b, and by relatively rotating them, the crank pin part 4b is polished. |
