PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or suppress bleeding or mixing of colors with each other among different color inks by changing picture elements present inside a larger array in the case that all the pixels inside a small array are pure black pixels. SOLUTION: A first array of a pixel region, that is, a high-order array, is defined by the pixels 1,1-6,6 the width of the first array is M and height is N. Then, the second array of the pixels is defined on the inner side of the first array of the pixels. The second array of the pixels is the array of 2×2 and is placed at the center of the first array of the pixels. Then, X×Y, that are the pixels inside the second array of the pixels, are checked and whether or not pixel data corresponding to them correspond to a first color ink (pure black ink, for instance) is judged. Then, in the case that the almost all the pixels inside the second array correspond to the first color ink, the pixels inside the first array are changed by a specified form without including the pixels inside the second array. |
