PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment mountable with high density, fine in appearance, prevented from mulfunction generated by a detecting switch part being exposed to the outside, and having a detecting switch for detecting opening/closing of a cover body and controlling a display circuit according to the opening/closing so as to prevent power consumption. SOLUTION: Electronic equipment is provided with a cover body 2 and a body 4 with the cover body closably assembled thereto. The cover body 2 is provided with a locking pawl 5. The body 4 is provided with an open knob 7 having a locking hole 8 forming a locking part 16 engaged with the locking pawl 5 so as to hold the cover body 2 in the closed state, and a detecting switch 9 for detecting opening/closing of the cover body 2 so as to control a display circuit according to the opened/closed state. The detecting switch 9 is disposed near the locking part 16 and constituted in such a way as to be pressed by the locking pawl 5 in the state of the locking pawl 5 being engaged with the locking part 16. |
