PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve multiplexing efficiency by employing the 6-phase modulation method used multuplexingly. SOLUTION: Spread spectrum processing is applied to a plurality of data series by using distinguishable spread codes, amplitude of in-phase components and orthogonal components is adjusted to allow code points to be arranged on each apex of a regular hexagon thereby obtaining a 6PSK mapping (000-101). Then each 6PSK vector is multiplexed to configure code point arrangements of 2-multiplex, 3-multiplex,.... The code point arrangement of the honey-comb structure obtained thereby attains an optional number of multiplex spread spectrum communication while keeping the geometric harmony in an optimum way. Since the structure is the hexagonal closest packed structure where each distance between adjacent code points is all identical to each other, each code point has the same noise margin and the communication power is efficiently used. |
