PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a portable telephone set to generate electromagnetic wave at a distant position from a carrier's body as far as possible and to arrange its antenna in a way of not giving hindrance to walking or the like. SOLUTION: In this telephone set, a microphone 5 and a speaker 4 are arranged at both ends of a case. Furthermore, an internal communication section 7 is arranged toward the microphone 5, and an antenna 71 of a communication section 7 to send/receive a speech with a radio signal projects toward the microphone 5 of the case. Thus, even when the miniaturization of the telephone set is progressed, as electromagnetic wave is generated at the most distant position from eyes and ears or the like to which no biological effect is desired so as to prevent the effect of the electromagnetic wave onto the human body as less as possible. Furthermore, since the antenna 71 is located toward the eyes of the user, the antenna is not caught accidentally during walking or the like and no trouble is imposed on other persons. |
