<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high quality toner for developing an electrostatic charge image excellent in stability of a charged state in spite of no metal and less liable to cause the stain of a copy by using a compd. having a specified structure as an electrostatic charge controlling agent. SOLUTION: This toner contains a resin, a colorant and one or more kinds of compds. represented by the formula as an electrostatic charge controlling agent for developing an electrostatic charge image. In the formula, R is an arom. cyclic residue which may have a substituent or an alicyclic residue which may have a substituent, X is an arom. cyclic residue which may have a substituent other than a haloalkyl group or an alicyclic residue which may have a substituent, the arom. cyclic residue may be a carbon ring, a hetero ring or a condensed ring consisting of carbon rings, hetero rings or carbon and hetero rings. The aliphatic residue is, e.g. alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or other aliphatic residue which may contain an atom other than C.</p> |
