PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly recognize a character and a graphic by providing a reading control part/character recognizing part, etc., which compares data kept in two image memories with data of a medium format, recognizes a deviation, corrects the deviation and recognizes the character, etc. SOLUTION: Data fetched to the image memory part B5 is analyzed in the reading control part/character recognizing part 6 and compared with data of the medium format being a theoretical value. Thus, the deviation adding the error of carrying adding a skew and influence at the time of reading and printing error, etc., is judged. Then, the judged deviation is considered so as to segment character data from an image data part A4. After that, frame data in the medium format is compared with the measure of a frame obtained by data which is fetched to the image data part B5 and the frame of the latter is corrected so as to permit measure to coincide with the measure of the medium format frame. Then, the character or the graphic is recognized after that. |
