The invention concerns a locking device for gas-insulated switching system with double bus-bars. The switching system has a power switch and two cut-out and earthing switches allocated to said power switch, and the power switch can be controlled manually via a power switch drive and the cut-out and earth switch can each be controlled via a three-position switch drive. The locking device is realised in the form of a locking module (VM) between the three-position switch drives (DA1, DA2) and the power switch drive; a pre-select sliding unit (VS) capable of linear displacement between one of the two three-position switch drives (DA1, DA2) in their final positions and the power switch drive (LA) in its middle position can be used to effect a preliminary selection for carrying out manual switching with the drives.
