PURPOSE:To make drying speed suitable for a spin coating method and prevent a base from being dissolved, by providing a recording layer comprising a cyanine coloring matter of a specified general formula on the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer comprising a cyanine coloring matter of the general formula is provided on a base. In the formula, l is 2 or 3, Z is an atomic group for forming a benzene ring or the like, R1 is an alkyl, alkoxyl or the like, (Ri)m and (R'i)n are substituent groups in which each of m and n represents the number of the substituent groups and is an integer of 1-4, and Ri and R'i are general formulas of different substituent groups with the value of i being 2-5; namely, (Ri)m and (R'i)n are the same or different substituent groups selected arbitrarily from Ri and R'i according to the values of m and n, at least a part of which is a group selected from sulfonamino and sulfonalkylamino groups and the remainder, if any, is an alkyl or alkoxyl; and X<-> is an anion such as a halogen and perchlorate ion. |
