PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of erroneous operations of a semiconductor power element due to a surge voltage or induced noise when constructed by the combination of a converter module and an inverter module. SOLUTION: This equipment is constructed with a module for a converter 3' and a module for an inverter 4 formed by arranging U, V, W and P, N main circuit terminals 9 to 10 and a control terminal 11 on the top surface of a package 8 with a plurality of built-in power elements constituting a bridge circuit and by wiring a bus bar 14 between P and N terminals at each module. In this case, the terminals are arranged in such a manner that the P and N terminals of a converter 3 and inverter 4 face each other and align at right-left symmetrical positions in terminal arrangement, a wiring length of the bus bar 14 wired between in and N terminals is reduced thereby decreasing wiring inductance, and suppressing the influence of induction noise to the semiconductor elements due to power application to the bus bar 14. |
