<p>The sensor has a first element or cursor (31) and a second element or scale (32). The first element or cursor (31) has a series of electrical windings which may be interlaced wave windings (31A-31C) and one of these windings (31A) is supplied from an electronic circuit. The second element or scale (32) has a series of spatially periodic electromagnetic features such as windows and pillars (321,322). These modify according to their position relative to the cursor (31) the inductances of the two non supplied windings (31B,31C) which are also measured by the electronic circuit.</p> |
