PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking trainer capable of reducing load on a care-taker and safe walking training, by suspending a support base through a hunger onto a mobile body to move along a rail set on the upper side of the floor and suspending and supporting a seat body with a saddle to the support base. SOLUTION: This walking trainer has an almost U-shaped support base 2 and a seat body 4 connected to the underside face of the support base 2 via a chain 3. The trainer is also equipped with a suspension belt 12 as a suspension member with one end engaged with an engaging metal fitting of the support base 2, a hunger 13 engaged with the upper end of the suspension belt 12, and a suspension rope 14 connected to the hanger 13 so that a mobile body 15 connected to the rope 14 slides and moves on a rail 16. The suspension rope 14 is wound around a rotary drum in the mobile body, and the rotary drum is made to adjust the height h of the mobile body from the floor face by actuating a motor 18 by operating a remote controller 22. |
