SOLUTION: This system is provided with a touch panel 1 for inputting data, a driving current applying means 100 for intermittently applying a driving current to the panel 1 and a driving current application period changing means 110 for changing the application period of the driving current by the means 100 and constituted so as to reduce power consumption by extending the application period of the driving current when input operation is not continued.
