摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent an air flow from being lowered by shaping the cross section of a louver into an airfoil shape having a warpage greatly protruded upward, and providing at least a rod-shaped protrusion longitudinally of the louver on the side of a surface part of the louver between the upper and lower surfaces of the same where an air-flow is separated. CONSTITUTION:A louver 7 is formed in its section into an airofoil shape with a warpage greatly protruded upwardly. Sucked air from a suction inlet 2 is changed to hot air by a heat exchanger 5, and thereafter allow to pass through a passage 4 by a cross flow fan 6 and blown out from a blow-off outlet 3 via the louver 7. Thereupon, on the side of the louver surface of the louver 7, an air stream is produced along said lower surface, and directed to flow downwardly. Alternatively, on the side of the upper surface of the louver 7, an air floor is produced along said upper surface and disturbed by a rod-shaped widthwise protrusion 8 to cause a laminar flow boundary layer to be changed to a turbulent boundary layer for thereby eliminating any separation of the air flow. Also, behind the upper surface of the louver 7 a Coanda effect is maintained to permit the air flow to be directed likewise downwardly along said upper surface. Accordingly, downward blow-off with excellent directivity is assured without causing any increases of resistance, and hence any noise can be prevented from being produced.
