PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the adhesion property of color filters and overcoats and to prevent the peeling of these overcoats by forming projecting parts at the outer peripheral edges of the respective pixels of the color filters and forming the overcoats on the respective pixels so as to cover these projecting parts as well. SOLUTION: The projecting parts 3a are respectively formed in an overhanging form on the upper parts at the outer peripheral edges of the respective pixels 3R, 3G, 3B of the color filters 3. The respective pixels 3R, 3G, 3B are formed to a square shape of about 100μm in one side and the size of the projecting parts 3a is 0.2 to 3μm, more preferably about 1μm. The overcoats 4 are so formed as to cover the color filters 3 at about 1 to 3μm film thickness to protect the surfaces of the color filters 3 and their projecting parts 3a. The flatness of the surfaces of the color filters 3 and the projecting parts 3a are secured by overcoats. As a result, the sufficient adhesion property between the color filters 3 and the overcoats 4 is obtd. |
