PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of efficiently executing effect processing for an audio signal without wasting operation ability. SOLUTION: A digital audio signal being a processing subject is stored in a RAM 4 successively. A CPU 1 monitors the level of the digital audio signal, and stops the execution of the effect processing when an input is regarded as that it stops continuously for a prescribed time or above. Thereafter, when the digital audio signal returns to a large level again, the CPU 1 restarts the execution of the effect processing. |
