System for pest controlling in gas-tight treatment room, e.g. sealed mill, warehouse, museum etc.

The system uses a treatment gas which is fed into the treatment room (1) and the mixture of treatment gas/air is discharged after sufficient reaction time. The gas is separated from air and is collected in a container and/or transported. The gas may then be reused or disposed of. The gas is separated by a condensation- and/or adsorption- and/or permeation-process. The air which is partially released from the gas is fed back into the treatment room. The discharging of the treatment gas/air mixture takes places over a pre-cooler (7) which can be a heat exchanger (7). The heat exchanger cools the gas/air mixture and reduces its humidity, preferably extracts its water or condenses it. The separated gas my be filled in pressure cylinders or containers. The gas may be sulphuryl fluoride and/or carbonyl sulphide and/or methyl iodide.
