The proposed method of enhancing the aerodynamic qualities of an aircraft involves creating a zone of raised pressure between the aircraft's wing and the underlying surface during flight. Once the flying speed exceeds the speed at which the aircraft separates from the underlying surface, a portion of the air in the raised pressure zone is drawn off. The portion drawn off is accelerated to speeds in excess of that of the windstream and is then expelled onto the upper wing surface in the direction of the wing's trailing edge. The aircraft is provided with a wing with longitudinal (2) and transverse (1) strengthening elements, as well as ducts (5, 6, 7) between the longitudinal strengthening elements (2). Each of the ducts (5, 6, 7) narrows from the bottom wing surface to the top wing surface, and the outlet aperture is situated behind the inlet aperture in relation to the aircraft's direction of flight.
