摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the wearings of bricks at a furnace bottom part and a side wall of the furnace bottom without obstructing the production of a pig iron by increasing the dead wt. of a furnace core coke deposited layer and preventing the float-up of the furnace core coke deposited layer caused by the buoyance of molten iron. SOLUTION: At the time of alternately charging the coke or an ore into the furnace from the furnace top part of a blast furnace, a part of the charging quantity of the coke is replaced with a bulky material (crushed carbon base or graphite base brick, etc.,) having >=1.3 apparent sp. gr., >=80wt.% fixed carbon content, <=1wt.% volatile matter content and 30-200mm grain diameter. The bulky material is concentrically charged into the center range of the blast furnace 1 along a charging material dropping locus 9 from a charging device 6 in a separated route to form the substituted bulky material deposited layer 11, and the coke 10 is charged into the peripheral part of the furnace 10 to form a coke layer 12. Further, the substituted bulky material or the coke is charged into the center range of the furnace from the charging device 6 to form the deposited layer 13, and the ore 10 is charged into the peripheral part of the furnace from a bell-type charging device 2 to form the ore layer 15.</p>
