The headlamp adjuster has a first rod (3) attached to the rear of the reflector (1) and a second rod (4) attached to the reflector support (6) through a threaded rod (5) which can be used for adjustment. The two rods are joined by an elastic sleeve (8).The second rod has an external diameter greater than that of the first rod and a threaded hole (9) at its end to accept the end of the first rod, forming an adjustable coupling. The elastic sleeve has an enlarged end to fit over the larger diameter rod, and contracts in diameter to fit tightly over the smaller diameter rod, forming a lock to retain the setting
